01 / How it works
What your accountant does with your invoices
- Sees each invoice you issue straight away, with nothing to forward.
- Records it as income in the quarter it belongs to.
- If you make a mistake on an invoice, tells you how to correct it, because once issued it can't be edited or deleted.
- Tells you when Verifactu applies to you, and lets you know if the dates change.
How an invoice goes out
- 01
You create the invoice in the platform
With your customer's details and what you're charging, in a couple of minutes.
- 02
It's recorded and sent to the AEAT
When you issue it, the platform creates its record and sends it to the Tax Agency.
- 03
You send it to your customer
From the platform, with the QR code Verifactu requires.
- 04
Your accountant already has it
They see it straight away and count it in the quarter's taxes.
02 / Questions
Frequently asked questions
When does Verifactu become mandatory?
It depends on whether you're a company or self-employed, and the Ministry of Finance has announced it wants to push the dates back. Your accountant tells you which applies to you. If you already send invoices from the platform, you don't need to change anything.
Which invoicing system does the platform run on?
Invopop, in VERI*FACTU mode only. Invopop SL, which produces the system, signs the declaración responsable, which we publish on our site.
Can I use it if my business is in the Basque Country or Navarre?
Not yet. The platform's invoicing covers the common territory (AEAT) and the Canary Islands. TicketBAI (the Basque Country) and Navarre are not available yet.
What if I invoice with another program?
You can keep using it: tell us which one and we'll connect it. Verifactu compliance then depends on that program.
