Agencies overview
Your fees
and media spend,
kept apart
An agency’s invoices mix creative and management fees with media spend, software and freelancers. You bill advertisers in Spain and often in the EU or further afield, and you buy campaigns from platforms based in Ireland.
You upload the invoices from ad platforms, software subscriptions, freelancers and production from your phone, on the Numonis platform. Your accountant checks every figure before it goes into a return and files your VAT and withholding on time and, if you have staff, your payroll specialist handles the Social Security contributions.
What we handle
What your accountant keeps an eye on in an agency
Most of it comes down to VAT and withholding, because you buy campaigns from platforms in Ireland, bill clients abroad and pay freelancers.
-
Clients abroad
Business clients based outside Spain pay no Spanish VAT. For EU clients, we register you in the ROI and declare the sale in Modelo 349 with key S.
-
Google Ads and Meta Ads
Their invoices come from Ireland without Spanish VAT. Your accountant usually enters them in your Modelo 303 by reverse charge and in Modelo 349 with key I.
-
Media spend and suplidos
Ad spend only counts as a suplido if the invoice is in the client’s name, there is an express mandate, you recover the exact amount and you deduct no VAT on it. Your accountant checks this before you bill.
-
Withholding on your invoices
If you send invoices as a professional, business clients in Spain withhold 15%, or 7% the year you start and the two after. An SL’s invoices usually carry none.
-
Freelancers and staff
We declare the withholding on freelancers’ invoices in Modelo 111 and 190, and your payroll specialist runs payroll under the advertising collective agreement where it applies.
-
Taxes on time
Your accountant files quarterly VAT with its reverse-charge entries, Modelo 349, and income or corporate tax depending on how your agency is set up.

FAQ
What people ask before joining Numonis
How is VAT handled on Google Ads or Meta Ads invoices from Ireland?
As an intra-EU purchase of services under reverse charge: you self-assess the VAT in Modelo 303 and declare the purchase in Modelo 349 with key I, and you need to be in the ROI where required.
Can I pass media spend to a client as a suplido?
Only if every condition is met: the supplier’s invoice is in the client’s name, there is an express mandate, you recover the exact amount and you do not deduct its VAT. If the invoice is in your name, it is usually re-invoicing and part of your taxable base.
Does an agency set up as an SL have withholding on its invoices?
Usually not. The 15% or 7% withholding applies to the professional income of individuals. When a company invoices for its business activity, the client does not usually withhold income tax.
Does Numonis connect to Stripe or my invoicing tool?
Yes. Stripe and your invoicing tool connect to the Numonis platform, so your payments and invoices reach your accountant without you exporting anything. If you use a tool we don’t list, tell us which one and we’ll connect it.
How much does it cost for a small agency?
It depends on how your agency is set up, how many transactions it moves and how many people you employ. Plans for autónomos start at €49 + VAT a month, plans for companies at €99 + VAT, and payroll at €45 + VAT a month for the first person.
