Restaurants overview
Your restaurant’s
margin,
by channel
A bar, café or restaurant can put through hundreds of tickets a month, on top of supplier invoices, delivery settlements and rotas that change every week. On paper and in a spreadsheet, gaps open up in the VAT, the till and the staff costs.
You send tickets, invoices and till closes from your phone with the Numonis platform, and your accountant keeps your accounts up to date. After each monthly close you see what the dining room, the bar and delivery each bring in. Your accountant files the VAT and tax on time; Social Security is your payroll specialist’s job.
What we handle
What your accountant takes off your plate
These are the jobs a restaurant owner usually ends up doing at night, after closing. Your accountant and payroll specialist do them instead.
-
VAT on every ticket
Most food and drink served on the premises goes at 10%. Some take-away items, such as sealed alcoholic drinks, can go at 21%. Your accountant keeps each rate apart for your Modelo 303.
-
Delivery commissions
We book Glovo, Uber Eats and Just Eat commissions as an expense of each channel, apart from the gross sale, using each platform’s own settlement.
-
Revenue by channel
Dining room, bar, terrace, events and delivery each get their own line, so you can see which part of the business earns its margin.
-
Shifts and seasonal staff
Your payroll specialist does the contracts and payslips with overtime, night and holiday supplements, fijos discontinuos and summer or Christmas cover, under your province’s collective agreement.
-
Till closes and tips
We square each day’s till close with card, cash and tips. For tips we agree one rule with you and apply it the same way every month.
-
The 303 and 390
Your accountant files Modelo 303 every quarter and the annual Modelo 390 where they apply, plus income or corporate tax depending on how your restaurant is set up.

FAQ
What people ask before joining Numonis
Can I keep using my current till?
In most cases, yes, if it exports sales by VAT rate and payment method. Whether it meets the VeriFactu rules depends on the till and its maker; your accountant checks how its exports fit your accounts.
How do you record Glovo, Uber Eats or Just Eat commissions?
As an expense of each channel, separate from the gross sale. Your accountant works from each platform’s settlement, not only the payment that reaches your bank, so you can compare delivery’s margin with the dining room’s.
Does Numonis connect to my till or delivery platforms?
Yes. Your till, the delivery platforms, Stripe, Shopify and WooCommerce connect to the Numonis platform, so your till closes and settlements reach your accountant on their own. Tell us which till you use and we’ll connect it.
Can I switch accountant partway through the year?
Yes. We agree with you which accounting records, returns and documents are handed over and who files each period, so no quarter is left without an owner.
How much does it cost for a small restaurant?
It depends on how your restaurant is set up, how many transactions it moves and how many people you employ. Plans for autónomos start at €49 + VAT a month, Grow includes payroll for one employee at €129 + VAT a month, and plans for companies start at €99 + VAT a month.
