01 / How it works
What your accountant does with your SumUp sales
- Records each card sale as income, with its date.
- Separates SumUp's fee from the amount collected and records it as an expense.
- Matches each SumUp payout with what arrives in your bank.
- Tells you if a refund or a chargeback changes the quarter's income.
How it connects
- 01
You connect your SumUp account
From the Numonis platform, once.
- 02
Your sales arrive on their own
Every card sale, its fee and every payout to your bank.
- 03
Your accountant checks the first month
They make sure everything matches the bank and settle how your sales are recorded.
- 04
Every month, matched
From then on they match each payout with your bank and write to you if something doesn't add up.
02 / Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to send you anything from SumUp?
No. Once SumUp is connected, your sales, fees and payouts reach the platform on their own. Your accountant only asks you if something doesn't match.
What about the cash I take?
Cash doesn't go through SumUp, so it doesn't come through the connection. Your accountant tells you how to record it so your sales add up.
Can I use SumUp and my bank's card terminal at the same time?
Yes. You connect both and your accountant matches all your payments with the transactions in your bank.
